Kids Helping Kids Day

What a wonderful day to celebrate! Kids Helping Kids Day! A perfect time to teach your kids unselfish acts towards other children. There are many ways this can be done right in your own community, but there are so many well-run organizations with the exact same goal. Kids Helping Kids. Take a look at some of them:

Children To Children ~ Started by a 16 year-old girl, this organization’s mission is to give every foster child their own duffel bag with a stuffed animal inside.
The Pajama Program ~ The program provides new pajamas and books to children in need.
Locks Of Love ~ Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
Little Red Wagon ~ Established by a 5th grade students, Little Red Wagon raises funds to help homeless children.

Each and every community has many projects that kids can get involved in from soup kitchens to food banks to clothing drives. Find one that interests your children and sign up! Compassion for others can be instilled in our kids, starting today!
