Unplug And See The Difference

If you want to see an immediate difference in your electric bill from this month to next, go around your house and unplug any unused appliances. Check for cell phone chargers, laptops, hair dryers, coffee makers...any appliance that is not a major appliance. Unplug them when they're not in use and you WILL see a difference in your bill. The first time I did it, mine dropped by $24.97. (That's $299.64 a year!) While you're at it, hang a clothesline in your basement and hang up the majority of your laundry. This will help take another bite out of that bill!
