Valentine's Day, the most romantic day of the year. That's the most important thing to remember about the day. It's not about how much you spend or how big the gift is, it's about how much you love your partner. With that said, here are some ideas on how to say "I Love You" without breaking the bank:

- Plant little love notes where your partner will find them throughout the day (coat pockets, briefcases, inside shoes, wallets...you get the idea)
- Make heart shaped food...pancakes, pizzas, cookies, sandwiches...
- Leave a romantic voice mail, setting up a "date" for later that evening.
- Tie a heart-shaped balloon to the antenna of their car.
- Make love coupons (good for one massage, one bubble bath, etc) that they can redeem anytime they want.
- Burn a CD of your favorite love songs that are special to both of you.
- Have dinner and a movie at home...set the table with the works (tablecloth, wine glasses, etc). Then cuddle on the couch together to watch a romantic flick.
- An old favorite...breakfast in bed.
- Write a poem and have it delivered to your partner at work, along with one flower.
- Post your favorite photos of the two of you together and upload them to a digital frame or a screen saver on your partner's computer.
- My favorite of all time is to make a "Why I Love You" box. Get an inexpensive hinged box, decorate it if you wish, and fill it with little pieces of paper. On each piece of paper, write a reason why you love that person. I gaurantee they'll look at it again and again in the years to come. Add to it every year to make your own tradition
