Deals On The Web

You will see a lot of deals posted for the internet. Clearance sales, coupon codes, point programs, etc. Sometimes, it's hard to stay away from such "bargains". What I have found is that most of the things that are posted, I really don't need. I steer clear of buying clothing online for anyone. I like to feel the fabric, see the length, check the quality, etc by holding in my own little hands. I'm usually the same way with electronics. I don't buy a lot of toys due to the fact that my kids are teenagers. So, I usually steer clear of too many online purchases.

With that said...I recently made an online purchase. Of food! Hickory Farms has everything on their site at 75% off right now.

Here's what I got:

(4) Beef Summer Sausage Rolls - 16 oz each

(1) Turkey Sausage Roll - 10 oz

(1) Creamy Swiss Blend Cheese Spread - 4 oz

(1) Sharp Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese - 7 oz

(1) Edam Cheese - 7 oz

(1) Apple Pie Cheddar - 6.5 oz

(1) Garden Medley Cheese Ball - 6 oz

I will keep the majority of these items (with the exception of one of the cheeses) in the freezer for future parties, potlucks, etc. When in a pinch, I will thaw out a few of the items and make a bologna and cheese tray, complete with dipping mustard. Or, a cheese ball and toss in a box of crackers. The options are unlimited. All of this for less than $24.00 - shipped! What a great deal. And I know it won't go to waste.
