National Static Cling Day

Talk about frugal fun! All it takes is a balloon and a little bit of elbow action. So much fun for the kids. Go ahead, blow up one or more balloons and let the imagination run wild. Rub the balloon across someone's head (preferably with hair on it!) and let the static cling build. Let the balloon pick up all sorts of things like popcorn, glitter and styrofoam. You might want to do it outside because I see a mess coming!

If you don't want to be messy, blow up a few balloons and make designs on the wall like this one:

But let's face it. Even if you only have one balloon and no glitter or popcorn, you can still have tons of fun. Rub that balloon fast and furiously across your head and create a brand new hairdo:
