On April 22, 2009, all across this world of ours, Earth Day will be celebrated. It's a time for everyone to stop and think about our planet and things we can do to preserve the wonderful place we call earth. All this week, I will post ideas and links to help celebrate Earth Day. Look all around you, there are free concerts, fairs and shows nationwide. Check your local newspapers to see if your city, school or community have anything to offer. If not, celebrate it by planting a tree, starting your own recycling project or just taking the simple pledge to use cloth tote bags instead of plastic bags. Here's your first Earth Day idea to get you started:
Teach your kids the importance of Earth Day by downloading and printing this great coloring/activity book. You can find the book HERE.
While you're at it, why not recycle some of those crayon pieces for them to use as an example...you can learn how HERE. Have fun!
